The Meeting Room of Town Hall has welcomed Friday the delivery of the III Almazjoven Awards convening the Youth Council.
In total 23 works were presented in the categories of poetry, short stories and photography.
The first poetry prize, worth 300 euros a gift voucher, has been to Alba Fernandez.
The second and third prizes were awarded to Sergio Ros and Miguel Lopez, respectively.
In the form of short story, first prize, a gift voucher worth 300 euros was for Maria Isabel Belmar.
The second and third prize corresponded to Angela Garcia and Stephanie Ortiz.
Finally, in the form of photography, the first prize in a 300 euro gift voucher has been for Angela Garcia.
The second and third prize have highlighted the work of Jenny Mendoza and Jose Ignacio Plaza.
After receiving the awards from Councillor for Youth, Patricio Sánchez, winners have proceeded to make a brief presentation of their work.
At the end of the act, Patricio Sánchez has congratulated the winners and has encouraged other young people to participate in Mazarron events like Almazjoven and show their talent and creativity, as subsequent contributions represent culturally enrich the municipality.
