The City of Mazarrón recovered for the coming months summer schools.
Initiative of the Department of Social Policy which was presented Thursday by the Mayor of Mazarrón, Alicia Jimenez and councilors of Education and Social Policy, Patricio Sanchez and Laura Ortiz, board Carmen Navarro, president of Red Cross in Mazarrón, organization with which we work together to develop the activity.
The mayor of Mazarrón, Alicia Jimenez, stressed that this is an important effort made by the local administration with the aim of reconciling the lives of families in the town during the summer.
It will be an activity to be held free and in which prevail in the income criteria access to the unit, large family, victims of domestic violence, disability, single-parent family and work activity of parents.
Alicia Jimenez thanked the headmasters their willingness to offer their facilities.
Meanwhile, Carmen Navarro has stressed the importance of such activities as is done with them combat school failure .. The summer schools will be held with teachers, monitors leisure time, therapists and Red Cross coordinator.
In addition, volunteers will incorporate different on different days of the week.
60 places for children aged 4 to 12 years
2016 Summer Schools are aimed at children aged 4 to 12 years and will be held at the Colegio La Canada de Mazarron and the Bay of Puerto de Mazarrón College.
seats 60, 30 for each college are offered in total.
Children will be served from 4 July to 26 August for teachers and monitors from 9:30 to 13:30.
In summer school students will work not only the educational part, but also the part playful and end a five-day camp in Los Urrutias.
Requests, deadlines and registration
Applications are available in Social Services of Puerto de Mazarrón and the City Council.
The deadline for submission will be until June 20 and will be made by check in at City Hall.
The admission list will be announced on June 28
The requirements, approved in Local Government, will mark the following criteria:
