Non-contributory pensions and severe disability also benefit from this new regulation |
The Governing Council, at its last regular session in June, has approved the decree law establishing the regime of economic contribution of the beneficiaries of certain benefits Autonomy System Care Unit changes.
Thus, the 33 percent co-payment is suppressed in services day center for people with disabilities and older, a change that benefits users with non-contributory pensions, family protection and severe disability.
This measure assumes that approximately 17 users of the Day Centre for Persons with Intellectual Disability of Mazarrón not have to copagar, ie 75% of those currently copagan.
It remains to assess, once left BORM published in the regulation, reducing the co-payment corresponding to non-contributory pensions and severe disability.
According to calculations from the direction of Mazarrón Day Centre, about the total copay of all users will be lowered by almost 70%.
Copays currently represent 2,304 euros and is expected to spend 832 euros.
The objective of this measure is to reduce the payment they have to make people in situations of dependency on benefits they receive.
It is estimated that this measure will benefit a total of 1,235 persons with disabilities and elderly throughout the Region of Murcia.
Specifically, they will no longer pay for services up to 1,006 people and will pay less than what they had been doing 229 people.
The estimated savings is about 60 euros per person.
The current formula states that the co-payment per person is obtained from the monthly sum of calculating the economic capacity and supplements.
