Mazarron hamlet of Cañada de Gallego celebrated these days its festivities in honor of San Antonio.
Celebrations which ended on Monday, June 13, day of the patron.
Day that began with the traditional Mass and celebration of communion.
This was followed by the procession through the streets of the village with the image of San Antonio.
The festivities began last Tuesday with a dinner tribute to the elders of the village which was attended by the General Director of the Elderly, Ana Guijarro and the Mayor of Mazarrón, Alicia Jimenez, along with other members of the government team and the headman, Toni Mendez.
On Wednesday June 8 was the Children's Day, with fair to 1.50 euros from opening to closing.
At 22:00 took place the opening speech by José María Zapata "Don Pepe", director of CEIP San Antonio Cañada de Gallego from 1986 to 2010 and currently secretary of the school.
Fireworks and musical performance group "Autogiro" completed the set of festive events of that day.
Thursday June 9 children's activities continued with the children's musical "Sonrilandia" and their special guests, well known for the little ones as the "Patrol Canine".
Later there was a tribute to Sabina hand "suicide Drivers".
On Friday 10th, at 22:00 pm, it was the turn for the dance academy "De Rosa" and from 23:30 Juan "El Sevillano" livened up the evening with a repertoire of Spanish song.
On Saturday June 11, at 16:30 pm, petanque championship for all ages and evening, performances by regional gangs and the band "Iguana Show".
On Sunday, 12, he began the day with a Mass offered with the participation of the group "Aires de Mazarrón" and then a procession from the church to Percheles and around the Salar.
At 14:30 hours, paella for all attendees and evening, at 21:30 pm, taekwondo display.
He closed on Saturday the performance of the group "Al relente".
