About a dozen students from secondary and high schools of Mazarrón learn from this Monday until next Wednesday the details of how they work the "Formula Student UPCT" that make engineering students from the Polytechnic University of Cartagena oriented in an exciting practical activity as it is the development of prototype racing cars.
The course was inaugurated by the Councillor for Education, Patricio Sanchez and the director of this educational activity, Patricio Franco.
The mayor stressed the introduction in the university world that offers high school students this initiative and doing projects that generate interest among students.
During the course, students will learn to identify needs, seek solutions and know the possibilities offered by industrial technology.
"Formula Student UPCT" works since 2008 manufacturing, successful prototype racing cars.
The result of this project has been seen in Mazarrón recently twice.
In both the December festivities as the festival "The Fun Island", the cars of the UPCT they were present to the delight of those who attended both events.
