Alicia Jimenez, Mayor of Mazarrón and Carmen Navarro, president of Red Cross in the city, have signed this Friday the transfer agreement of a new ambulance and 6 defibrillators which reinforce health care in peak season and continue lending it to throughout the year.
The agreement adds an amount of 65,213 euros which is the value of the vehicle and resuscitation material donated in their day to the City by the association of foreign residents in Mazarrón Protection and Live (PALS).
As a sign of gratitude, Carmen Navarro has been delivered to the mayor of a plaque of appreciation to the consistory.
Currently, the Red Cross has two ambulances with 7 people hired who serve throughout the year, transferring the sick to health emergencies of hospitals in St. Lucia and mainly Arrixaca.
The agreement has also had the rubric of the council of Civil Protection, Laura Ortiz and the Head of Municipal Emergency Pedro Hernandez.
