Ecuadorian community and neighboring towns Mazarrón live this weekend its traditional celebrations in honor of the Virgen del Cisne, popularly known as "La Churonita".
The program of activities will begin on Saturday August 13 at 06:00 hours with ringing of bells and firing rockets.
At 09:00 will open the Sanctuary of La Purisima to surrender the faithful devotion to the image of the Swan.
At 14:00 pm in the fields of the Amazon River Association, various sports events in male and female categories will be played.
In the afternoon, at 19:00 pm, Mass in honor of the Virgen del Cisne at the Shrine of the Immaculate and subsequent procession through the streets of Mazarrón.
At 22:00 hours the festivities continue at the Fairgrounds Road Los Rincones with the opening speech, performance of dance groups of Murcia and Totana, guest artists, fireworks and "mad cow" disease.
On Sunday August 14, from 17:00 hours, other popular games will be held at the fairgrounds of Los Rincones.
Enchanted pots, sack race, musical chairs, dancing tomato, egg air and food binges are some of the fun activities scheduled the Festival Committee in collaboration with the Department of Celebrations of the City of Mazarrón.
