The Institute of Development and the City of Mazarrón have agreed to develop in the coming months the business cycle "Mazarrón INFO Company" to promote the creation of new businesses and help the consolidation of SMEs in the municipality as a source of wealth creation and employment .
The implementation of this cycle is one of the issues discussed today by the director of Info, Javier Celdrán, and the Mayor of Mazarrón, Alicia Jimenez, under the Entrepreneur Municipality agreement that the Institute of Development and the local corporation signed in 2015.
Alicia Jimenez has said that Mazarrón is the first municipality in the region in which the business cycle starts, "thus supporting good employment policy and training takes place and highlighted the decline in unemployment in the last year, ranking Mazarrón figures below the regional average. "
After the meeting, the Director of Information said "the revitalization of the local economy and job creation are two objectives that unite the will of the regional government and the City of Mazarrón" and stressed the importance of this new initiative "that will bring to future entrepreneurs and local businessmen keys needed to address business management with guarantees of success your business project or company to consolidate its hand seeking funding and commitment to innovation and internationalization ".
In this case, the training cycle will allow conducting courses, workshops and information days on the steps and procedures necessary to implement a project, developing a feasibility plan, how to find funding or how to deal with, if necessary, implementation improvement investing in new technologies or finding foreign markets.
Celdrán recalled that Mazarrón was honored last April by the Governing Council as "Entrepreneur Municipality" along with the municipalities of Murcia, Puerto Lumbreras and Totana by its high degree of compliance activities promoting entrepreneurship included within the agreement signed with the Institute of Development in the Region of Murcia.
"A covenant trying to encourage business to move it forward in the goal of making the region a space of economic freedom and more and better opportunities for entrepreneurs, job creators," he said.
He also announced that this year, as part of the celebration of the "Day of the Entrepreneur of the Region of Murcia", will be held a day on 3 October in the municipality.
