Students Schools Summer schools La Canada de Mazarrón and Bay of Puerto de Mazarrón have received this Friday diploma certifying successful completion of the summer school period, recovered by the Department of Social Policy, in collaboration with the Red Cross to reconcile work and family life of the parents.
60 children from 4 to 12 years have participated since last July 4 different workshops, as well as strengthening basic criteria of reading and writing and the reminder of social skills and education and hygiene standards.
The activity of the Summer Schools culminates next week with a camp in Los Urrutias, organized in collaboration with Caritas, aimed at children older than 6 years.
Both the Councillor for Social Policy, Laura Ortiz as head of the Red Cross in Mazarrón, Carmen Navarro, have thanked the work of monitors and volunteer development activity.
