For two weeks, the public company technicians Mercasa have collected data on the food market of Puerto de Mazarrón with the aim of preparing a report that will serve to improve and renovate facilities of this market.
The results of this study, which was conducted at the request of the City of Mazarrón, will be ready in the first half of October, as noted by the Secretary of State for Trade, Jaime García Legaz, during the visit he made Monday along with the mayor of Mazarrón, Alicia Jimenez and Councillor for Commerce, Marisol Vivancos.
The aim of the study is to revitalize Mercasa the food market with more activity and, therefore, with more visitors.
According Legaz, the study has been carried out successfully in other parts of the country.
In it aspects such as access, parking availability, attractive architectural and incorporation of agents to attract customers are analyzed.
Once prepared the report, the City may request aid in the Ministry of Economy and the Chambers of Commerce that will be aimed at the improvement.
Both the mayor and the councilman of Commerce have appreciated the work done by the current placeros in recent years.
