During the months of July and last August, more than 20,000 users (according to data collected in the controller that records the passage of citizens) have used the library facilities of Puerto de Mazarrón for the loan of books, reading news, media , use of computers or study rooms.

In this period they have been made 6,191 loans, 6,729 returns and 671 renewals.

The figures reflected a remarkable increase from 2015 in which 5,753 loans, 6,236 returns and 513 renewals were made, according to data provided by the Department of Libraries of the City of Mazarrón.
