Mazarrón City Council opens this Friday, September 23, at 21 pm, the room called versatilis, at the Museum of Mazarrón "Factoria Romana Salting" with the exhibition "TIME STOPPED. The photographic legacy of D. Emeterio Cuadrado.
The exhibition is a graphic homage to the figure of D. Emeterio Cuadrado (1907-2002), engineer of roads, canals and ports that was one of the pioneering figures of the regional archeology, who discovered and excavated for forty years the Iberian complex the Cigarralejo (Mula), creating an important collection which is the basis of the current National Art Museum Iberian Cigarralejo.
The room versatilis born with the aim of multiplying the exhibition possibilities of the Museum of Mazarrón "Roman Factory Salt".
Its name makes logical reference to the Latin word from which our "versatile", ie, that which adapts to changes and can perform functions in a variety of circumstances word.
