The Department of Finance of the City of Mazarrón carries Tuesday fully the cooperation agreement to be signed with the Regional Tax Office to delegate the service tax collection in order to achieve greater efficiency, avoid prescriptions debt and create payment facilities to taxpayers.
Pedro Martinez has denied "rumors of a privatization of service" and said that "all negotiations and consultations on local taxes (IBI, IAE, Vehicle Tax, standards, etc.) will be made in Mazarrón in a new office the Tax Agency Region plans to open in the city. "

One of the main reasons for this new delegation agreement is to adopt more effective and modern procedures that help the Consistory to improve tax collection, prescriptions avoiding debt default.
Pedro Martinez said that "this agreement would impose justice among those taxpayers who meet their tax obligations those that break them."
Also, the new Office of Tax Management provides mechanisms to suit particular situations of taxpayers, especially for those who go through economic difficulties.
The agreement includes a Custom Payment Plan which will collect all receipts and pay has in 12 monthly payments.

Inventoried 110 rural roads in Mazarrón
