Antonio Paredes, collector, antique restorer and creator of works, has been elected Mayor of the Year 2016 following approval of the proposed appointment in the last Local Government.
The delivery of this recognition will take place on Friday, September 30 during the celebration of the seventh anniversary of the Center for Senior Day Mazarrón.
Born on November 8, 1948, Antonio Paredes Navarro has spent much of his life dedicated to the study of the history of Mazarrón.
Collector, antique restorer and creator of works, its main goal has always been to focus on the natural and historical heritage of Mazarrón.
Over recent years he has performed and collaborated with the City of Mazarrón in organizing several exhibitions: Evocation (2008), Roads Lead-Days Carlantum (2010), Return (2013) and Matri Terrae (2014).
He has also participated in the parade of floats with a collection of antique motorcycles and collaborated in editing the book "Mazarrón, Mining Town".
Eighth Anniversary of the Center for Senior Day Mazarrón
The delivery of recognition to Mazarron Mayor of the Year will take place on Friday September 30th during the celebration of the eighth anniversary of the Municipal Center Senior Day Mazarrón.
The event will begin at 17:00 with the opening by the Councillor for Social Policy, Laura Ortiz.
