Salvador Zamora Mazarron has been awarded in the XVII edition of HDL Awards awarded by the Brotherhood of Good Cholesterol Aviles.
Salvador Zamora received this important distinction for contributions made to the community for their studies in the field of nutrition for health.
The delivery of this award was attended by Alicia Jimenez, Mayor of Mazarrón.
Salvador Zamora is professor emeritus at the University of Murcia and nutrition specialist.
He is Favorite Son of the Municipality of Mazarrón and was town crier of the festivity of the Immaculate Conception in 2002.
Along with Salvador Zamora was also awarded the Prize HDL women's national team hockey.
The awards gala was held in the auditorium of the Casa de Cultura de Aviles.
