About 300 participants will be present at the start of the XXI Marcha MTB Mazarrón Bay organized by the "Club Ciclista 9 and Media" in collaboration with the Department of Sports City of Mazarrón.
The march was presented Thursday by the Mayor of Mazarrón, Alicia Jimenez, and the president of "Club Ciclista 9 and Media", José De la Cruz.
The march will cover the main sites of the Bay of Mazarrón from the coast to inland areas with a cumulative altitude of 1,250 meters and a total of 52 kilometers Registrations are still open, and can be formalized in www.cronomur.es and the website cycling club.
The organization reserved 25 places of registration for the test day at the start and finish line which will take place in the Plaza of the Autonomous Communities of Puerto de Mazarrón.
The mayor of Mazarrón, Alicia Jimenez, thanked the "Club Ciclista 9 and Media" efforts to promote sports activity for tourism and the municipality for more than 20 years.
The test "is another example of the wide range of sports that Mazarrón offers and serves to seasonally adjusted tourism throughout the whole year," said the mayor.
For his part, José De la Cruz has highlighted the benefits of a march that was the first to be organized MTB in the region of Murcia and repeats route for the sixth consecutive year.
