The Mayor of Mazarrón, Alicia Jiménez, Councilor for Education, Patricio Sánchez and members of the three institutes of the municipality have met this morning in the City of Mazarrón with the Director General of Educational Quality and Vocational Training, Fernando Mateo, to request An increase in the supply of training cycles in the three centers (IES Antonio Hellín, IES Felipe II and IES Domingo Valdivieso).
This is the fourth meeting held by the mayor with the general direction of the Autonomous Community with the main objective of improving and modernizing the offer of professional training offered in Mazarrón.
For Alicia Jiménez "it is necessary to adapt the cycles to the real needs of the current market so that young people can access a job effectively."
In this line has been expressed the Director General of Educational Quality, Fernando Mateo, who has indicated that "in Mazarrón could be successful the implementation of cycles related to hospitality and catering, as well as recreational craft."
Fernando Mateo has assured that "there are many possibilities for next year there will be a significant change in the training offer of FP in Mazarron" and has highlighted the work they have been carrying out to achieve this goal both City Hall and educational centers.
