The Fiestas del Milagro will begin next Friday with a wide program for all audiences and with novelties that seek to increase the fun and the participation of neighbors and visitors.
The programming has been presented this Tuesday in Bolnuevo by the councilman of Festejos, Patricio Sánchez.
The image of the Immaculate Conception will be transferred to Mazarrón next Sunday November 13 and the following Sunday will be the multitudinous pilgrimage with transfer of the beach virgin to her hermitage of Bolnuevo.
Following the tradition, the celebrations organized by the Town Hall involve these two main moments with a varied offer of activities that will make enjoy all the public.
As a novelty, on this occasion, the Miracle Festivals include the celebration of a Day Fair during the weekend of the pilgrimage in the Municipal Tent of Fiestas, located more visibly next to the main avenue of Bolnuevo.
Also from 11 to 20 November will take place the Ruta de la Tapa with the participation of 12 hotels.
The celebrations will begin this Friday, November 11, at 9:30 pm, with the proclamation, in the Municipal Car, the publicist and marketing director, Pedro Miguel Muñoz.
After the proclamation there will be an aperitif for all the attendees and at 22:30 will begin the concert of David Santiago with versions of flamenco pop.
On Sunday 13, at 09:30 hours will begin the popular climb of the Purísima from Bolnuevo to Mazarrón, with reception in the garden of the Purísima by religious and civil authorities, and then carry out its later transfer to the Church of San Andrés where Santa Misa will take place, following the parish agenda.
For ten days, the Department of Celebrations has programmed a wide program with children's activities, cultural and theatrical visits to the Tower of the Horses and acts already traditional as the Staged Reading of the Nine Declarations of the Miracle, scheduled for next Wednesday, November 16 to 20:00 hours in the Sanctuary of La Purísima.
On Thursday, November 17, Miracle Day, at 12:00 in the Sanctuary of La Purísima de Mazarrón, will celebrate the Solemn Mass with the presence of the bishop of the Diocese of Cartagena, José Manuel Lorca Planes.
During the same, the mayor of Mazarrón, Alicia Jiménez, will pronounce the Renewal of the Vow to the Purísima Concepción proclaiming it as Patroness of the Villa.
In the afternoon, at 5:00 p.m., a flower offering to La Purisima, with departure from the Residencia de Ancianos until the Sanctuary of the Patron.
A food donation will be made to Caritas.
Then, at 7:00 pm, Holy Mass in the Church of San Andres and blessing and distribution of the Virgin's oil, with the subsequent procession with the image of the Purísima from San Andrés to the churches of San Antonio and Sanctuary of La Purísima.
After the events scheduled for Friday and Saturday, the Miracle parties will end, as tradition marks, on Sunday, November 20 with the Romería from Mazarrón to Bolnuevo.
From early in the morning there will be free buses from Bolnuevo with stop at the bus station of Puerto de Mazarrón.
After Holy Mass, at 7:30 in the Church of San Andrés, the image will be accompanied by thousands of people who will culminate the journey in the beach of Bolnuevo to finally lead to the Purísima to her hermitage.
The party will be transferred back to the beach where the pilgrims will be able to taste the awaited moray of sardines by the sea in the company of friends and relatives.
The presentation of the parties was attended by Bolnuevo, Luis López and Andrés Pérez, a member of the Virgen del Milagro Neighbors Association.
Both have invited Mazarron and visitors to enjoy the holidays.
