The XII National Open Bay of Mazarrón Fishing will gather next weekend to more than a hundred participants from different parts of the country, mainly from the Region of Murcia and the neighboring provinces.

Until this Thursday there are 115 participants and the organizers hope to cover the number of places that is in 125, as confirmed by Luis Ginés Mateos of the Fishing Club of Puerto de Mazarrón.

The competition will be held on Saturday, November 26th starting at 18:00 hours on four beaches in the Bay of Mazarron: Isla Plana, Alamillo, Playa Grande and Bolnuevo.

At 22:00 hours will start the weighing and evaluation of the jury and later will proceed to the delivery of trophies with a later barbecue for all attendees.

Patricio Sánchez, Sports Councilor of Mazarrón City Council, highlighted the work of the members of the Fishing Club of Puerto de Mazarrón "who have organized an event that attracts new visitors to the municipality on a new weekend, with the Benefit that this has for shops and hotels in the municipality.
