The XII National Open Bay of Mazarrón Fishing finally gathered 116 participants that competed during the day of Saturday in four beaches of the coast: Isla Plana, Alamillo, Playa Grande and Bolnuevo.
The good weather accompanied the participants who enjoyed a tournament in which reigned the camaraderie and which had as winner Daniel Mendoza of "El Barbo".
The second place of the classification occupied Jose Alcaraz of "Tecnopesca" and Francisco Javier Lucas of the "Club of Port of Mazarrón".
In this edition, the most predominant species were herreras and obladas, being the piece of greater weight, a sea bass of 744 grams.
The Councilor for Sports, Patricio Sánchez, handed out trophies at the headquarters of the Fishing Club of Puerto de Mazarrón where after the championship took place a barbecue for all participants and assistants.
