The mayor of Mazarrón, Alicia Jiménez and the Director General of Digital Economy, Francisco Abril, presented today at the IES Antonio Hellín of Puerto de Mazarrón the new audiovisual work of the Integra Foundation titled "Landscape, Archeology and History of Mazarron", a Documentary of 16 minutes of duration that makes a complete journey of millions of years through the geological evolution and the history of Mazarrón, a territory that has been settled from the Middle Paleolithic to the present day and of those that have remained vestiges in the form of Prehistoric villages, Roman villas, Islamic forts or guard towers against Berber piracy.
The video was produced by the Murcia-based Nexus Audiovisual Creativity producer, and has had the scientific management of María Martínez Alcalde (municipal archaeologist of Mazarrón) and the advice of Gregorio Romero (geologist in the Directorate of Historic Heritage of CARM).
This documentary will become part of the contents of the Portal regmurcia.com and can also be consulted through its Youtube channel, which collects hundreds of documentaries produced by the Integra Foundation on the heritage of the Region of Murcia.

This is a novel line of work that the Integra Foundation is carrying out within the framework of the Digital Heritage project, which aims to generate content that contribute to a better understanding of our cultural and natural heritage, in collaboration with, for example, teachers from the area of Didactics of the Social Sciences of the University of Murcia.
