Next Thursday, the Fiestas Patronales will begin in 2016 in honor of the Purísima Concepción.
Until 11 December, the Department of Festejos has prepared an extensive program of activities that will ensure fun for all audiences for ten days.
This Monday, in the Plenary Hall of Town Hall, the Mayor of Mazarron, Alicia Jimenez and Councilman of Festivities, Patricio Sánchez, presented the book and the complete program in an event that was attended by Juan Zamora, president Of the Association of Parents of Persons with Disabilities in Mazarrón (ASPADEM), an organization that will be donated on this occasion, the donation of 1 of a euro for the acquisition of the book.
The cover is the work of the local artist Marcos Gómez, component of the group Almagra.

The Fiestas Patronales 2016 bet on the events that were already a success in 2015. Jaime Garcia Legaz, current president of CESCE and former Secretary of State for Commerce, will be the preacher of the parties in an event that will take place on Thursday, December 1 in the Parish Center of Mazarrón.
García Legaz has his family roots in the hamlet of Cañadas del Romero.
In addition, in 2016 incorporate novelties such as "Maz Prix Infantil", competition for children to demonstrate their skills.

The Gala of Election of Infantile Queen will be Sunday 4 of December, at 17:30 hours, with the Musical "The Queen of the Ice".
Activities for children, fair 2x1 and gAstrgAllo junior will attract the attention of the youngest.
The Day of the Mayor will be celebrated the 7 of December.
In Los Rincones will take place the expected musical concerts that so much acceptance and demand are reaping.
This time they will perform in Mazarrón as main groups "The Secrets" and "Camela", two different styles of music to cover the largest audience.
"Los Secretos", the group of Spanish pop rock created in Madrid in the 80's and reappeared in the 2000s will be in the tent of the fairgrounds of Los Rincones on Friday 9 December, at 10:00 pm.
The next day, on Saturday 10 at the same time, it will be the turn for "Camela".
Dionisio Martín and María Ángeles Muñoz will delight their fans of Mazarrón also in the tent of the fairgrounds of Los Rincones.
The entrance for both concerts will be free, although to accede will have to collect invitation in Consistorial Houses from next Monday 21 of November.
Each person will be entitled to two invitations.
These two groups will be the two main dishes of an agenda that will begin on Saturday December 3, after the gala of election of queen of the holidays, moment in which the local dj's will take action to soften the atmosphere.
Something they will do every night after the scheduled concerts and also in the Day Fair of the Avenue of the Constitution.
Ellunes December 5, local artist Mara will perform with "Mara Bang Band" and then television showman Antonio Hidalgo with his successful group "Los Happys".

The parties will end on Sunday, December 11 with the traditional "Parade of Chariots" for which the council has kept the subsidy of participation in 600 euros for each rock.
To this extensive program are added the traditional institutional acts that are celebrated on December 6 as well as the liturgical calendar of the Festivities in honor of the Purísima Concepción, patroness of all the mazarroneros, taking place the main event on Thursday, December 8 With the Solemn Mass in honor to the Patron in its Sanctuary of the Place of the Convent of Mazarrón.
