The mayor of Mazarrón, Alicia Jiménez and the parish priest of the Church of San José in Puerto de Mazarrón, Abel Rosa, signed this week an agreement that will give Cáritas the annual amount of 4,650 euros to help directly people with urgent needs or in Risk of social exclusion.

The agreement includes the acquisition by Cáritas Puerto de Mazarrón of food and other necessities, as well as dealing with the essential expenses of a home.

The signing of the agreement was attended by the Councilor for Social Policy, Laura Ortiz.

The agreement also contemplates the predisposition to propose monthly meetings to constitute criteria and forms of adjudication, organization and optimization of resources.
