One more year the Department of Festivities of the City of Mazarrón offers children but also adults the possibility of skating on a Christmas track that, this time, has been installed in the Plaza de Abastos of Puerto de Mazarron, next to a market Handicraft and numerous activities aimed mainly at the smallest.
The track is managed, again, by Red Cross volunteers, an NGO to which the collection is intended.
Its use supposes a cost of 2 euros.
Until January 8, your opening hours will be from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
As of December 25, the track will open in the afternoon and its use will be free.
The mayor of Mazarrón, Alicia Jiménez, highlights the solidarity nature of an activity that adds to a total of 30 different offers programmed by the City Council with the aim of finding the Mazarron in Mazarrón the leisure they seek to enjoy in family Of these dates.
Carmen Navarro, president of the Local Assembly of the Red Cross, recalls that the money that is obtained by the management will be directed, like the previous year, to programs to help underprivileged children.
At Christmas of 2015, the skating rink raised 1,800 euros.
