About 500 runners from the whole region of Murcia, mainly, and four other autonomous communities participated this Sunday in the IV Cross Trail Calas de Bolnuevo.
Two 21-kilometer and 11-kilometer races that saw a 9-kilometer hike along one of the most beautiful spots on the peninsular southeast coast in this edition, resulting in spectacular images that speak of the potential of Mazarrón for The combination of sports practice and tourism.
With more cold than other years and despite the planned organization of other tests in the Region of Murcia for the same day, the Bolnuevo event recorded a high participation and a notable follow-up of regional audiences and media.
The event, organized by the Bahía de Mazarrón and the Ayuntamiento Deportivo, won the 21-kilometer format for Bartolomé Sánchez, who added a time of 1:23:00, followed by Óscar de Francisco Ortiz and Antonio Rocamora.
In the female category, Ana Isabel Cánovas was the winner with a time of 1:39:40.
The best local runner was Miguel Angel Ballesta.
The 11-kilometer test was for José María López, who completed the tour in 00:43:59, followed by José Domingo Ruiz and Bienvenido Sánchez.
The mazarronera Mayte Vera was the first woman to cross the finish line in this test.
The presentation of trophies was attended by the first deputy mayor, Pedro Martinez and the councilman of Services, Domingo Hernandez.
