The Council of Tourism of the City of Mazarrón offers for this month of February three new routes that invite you to know the scenic beauty and history of the municipality.
The first of them will take place next Saturday, February 11th.
It will be a cultural route that will make known the building of modernist style Casas Consistoriales, which this year marks its 125th anniversary.
The two-hour route includes a guided tour of the Casino-Ateneo (outside) and the Mansion House of La Cañadica (outside).
With a limit of 20 places, the registrations can be formalized until February 10.
The second of the guided routes for this month of February will be a hiker route through the Sierra de la Almenara.
It will be held on Saturday, February 18, with a duration of 4 hours, revealing the mountains of La Almenara, Moreras and Cabo Cope, areas protected by its natural and ethnological value, where species such as Bonelli's eagle or Black turtle
Registration until February 17, with limit of 20 seats.
Finally, on Saturday, February 25, a visit to the Mazarrón Mines will take place, a landscape of great beauty, a vestige of the mining past of the municipality that had its greatest splendor between the end of the nineteenth century and the beginning of the twentieth century.
The route will last for 2.5 hours.
It also has a limit of 20 places, closing the inscriptions on 24 February.
