The Department of Sports of the City of Mazarrón has proceeded to renovate the paddle courts existing in the facilities of Mazarrón and Puerto.
After being built in 2009, its continued use had deteriorated the surface of the facilities, making it difficult for hundreds of fans of different ages who come to the three municipal trails of CEIP Ginés García or the Polideportivo de Bahía every week.
Once the damaged grass was removed, the concrete base of the slopes was cleaned, with the supply and installation of polypropylene fibrillated green grass of 12 mm high, 49,000 stitches per square meter and 2,089 g / square meter.
Subsequently, the track was marked with white lawn and ballasting of the surface with a load of silica sand of 14 kilograms / square meter.
The action has meant an investment of 14,520 euros.
