Mazarrón vibrated in the first great carnival weekend.
After the gala of the election of muse and the children's parade this Sunday was the turn for the great parade of local clubs with the participation of 15 clubs and about 600 comparsitas in the Avenue of the Constitution.
Numerous public populated chairs and stands to witness a parade full of color and worked choreography, plus some note of humor and fun.
Opened the parade the Marmara rock to give way to Dance Studio Terpsícore, Percheles Beaches, Amazon River, Peña El Toulon, Ambarela, Cultural Association La Cañadica, Tintanes & Bahia Sur, Academy of Ana Ruiz, Peña Caño del Molino, Los Salaitos , El Salitre, Los Guiris we are also Mazarroneros, Salsalá and Peña Atalaya Cultural Association.
Later, in the tent of Day installed in the Avenue of the Constitution took place the awaited delivery of prizes.
The comparsa Salsalá repeated, for the second consecutive year, as winner of the first prize, endowed with 1,500 euros.
The second prize, endowed with 1,200 euros, was for Titanes & Bahía Sur.
Finally, Ambarela, El Tolín and Marmara won the third, fourth and fifth prize, endowed with 900, 600 and 300 euros, respectively.
The delivery was made by the mayor of Mazarrón, Alicia Jiménez and by the councilman of Celebrations, Patricio Sánchez.
As for the diplomas, Salsalá obtained the recognition to the most elegant comparsa and the best headdress.
. The best design and the best choreography were Titanes & Bahia Sur.
While the Salaitos took the diplomas to the most partisan and most original comparsa.
The Mazarrón Carnival lasts one more week.
Next Saturday will be the parade of visiting clubs with the participation of 12 comparsas from different points in the Region, plus the first five winners and the two clubs that won the first prize in the children's parade.
