The Councilor for Social Policy, Laura Ortiz, and the director of the Mazarron Day Center, Salvador Sánchez, attended Monday the inauguration in Mazarrón of the course "Socio-Health Care for Dependent People in Social Institutions."
This training activity, of gratuitous character, is directed to unemployed people enrolled in the SEF, in possession of the title of graduate in ESO.
It will last 450 hours and will end on 20 July.
In total, there will be 370 theoretical hours and 80 non-work hours
The course is taught by the company Cubital Gestión SL and the Regional Employment Service in the Mazarrón Day Center from 16:00 to 21:00 hours from Monday to Friday.
The professional scope of the training activity is focused on helping in the socio-sanitary area people with special physical, psychic and social health needs applying the most appropriate strategies and procedures to maintain and improve their personal autonomy and their relationships with the environment.
Among the contents that will be addressed in the course, the characteristics and needs of hygienic-sanitary care of dependent persons, the administration of food and treatments to dependents in the Institution, the lack of physical abilities, maintenance and psychosocial rehabilitation, support In daily managements or the interrelation, communication and observation with the dependent person and its surroundings.
