The educational community of the Institute of Secondary Education Antonio Hellín Costa of Puerto de Mazarrón celebrates this week its traditional Days of Coexistence.
Initiative that is its eleventh consecutive year and which serves an integrative purpose.
Students from 20 different nationalities live together in a center that every year reserves a space in their programming to celebrate a day of multiple activities dedicated to sharing experiences, traditions and customs of each of the cultures of cradle to which their students belong.
Councilor for Education, Patricio Sánchez and Councilor for Social Policy, Laura Ortiz, visited the educational community of this center on a special day on Thursday.
Accompanied by the director of the institute, Pedro Lorite, the ediles have been interested in the different workshops and thematic classrooms that the students have prepared.
The members of the Center of Older People of Puerto de Mazarrón have joined one more year giving to know trades and works of old to the young generations of the institute.
As a novelty, the center has incorporated in these days a rap performance with outstanding participants.
Cyberbullyng prevention talks, documentary screenings, photographic exhibitions, biology works, metal workshops, tattoos, street markets, photocall and zumba exhibitions have completed the agenda of activities that culminated this Thursday.
