The Director General of Women, Alicia Barquero, attended the official signing ceremony for the Manifesto for Equal Opportunities promoted by the Organization of Women Entrepreneurs and Professionals (OMEP).
This signature was signed by the mayor of Mazarrón, Alicia Jiménez and the president of OMEP, Manuela Marín, along with the ediles of Equality and Employment, Laura Ortiz and María Ángeles Román and the delegate in Mazarrón OMEP, Sheilla Templado.
The manifesto, which has already been approved by the Local Government Board, includes ten basic rules that focus mainly on promoting women, giving them greater visibility in the business world, defending time flexibility and conciliation and An equal access.
A commitment that from the OMEP extends to the whole society, as detailed Manuela Marín.
The mayor, Alicia Jiménez, has confirmed her "commitment and that of the government team for the development of policies that promote equality".
The Municipality of Mazarrón thus joins the consistories of Murcia and Cehegín, media and regional political parties that have also adhered to this manifesto.
Alicia Barquero, Director General of Women, has taken advantage of her visit to Mazarrón to publicize the manual "Emprender and consolidate en feminina", as well as the equality plans of the Autonomous Community.
Barquero has announced that after the summer "is going to offer a subsidized training package that will be aimed at companies in the Region of Murcia that have the need to train in the field of equality."
