The Mayor of Mazarrón, Alicia Jiménez and the Councilor for Citizen Participation, Domingo Hernández, presented on Tuesday the Municipal Open Government Strategy that responds to "the objectives of the current government team to improve transparency, participation and standards of good Government, "as Alicia Jiménez has pointed out and is born of an agreement last December 16.
As a result, the portal of transparency www.gobiernoabierto.mazarron.es, with access available from the municipal website www.mazarron.es, is given origin and from which the structure and functioning of the consistory is detailed through a public information service Which will culminate in an improvement of the tools of citizen participation.
It is "one of the main political axes that has wanted to promote this Municipal Government to transform the way of managing public affairs in Mazarrón and to advance in what we understand that should be the commitments with our neighbors and neighbors," said the Mayor, Alicia Jiménez.
The aforementioned strategy implies the gradual transformation of the way the municipal administration relates to the neighbors of Mazarrón and seeks to involve citizens in and participate more in the management of all municipal affairs.

There are three blocks focused on information, transparency and openness of data, on citizen participation and collaboration and on accountability.
