On the weekend of May 13 and 14, Isla's beach will once again host a unique event that last year, in its first edition, attracted thousands of visitors from inside and even outside the city to Mazarrón. Region of Murcia.
Fun Fest Island is once again a gap in the agenda of regional events to offer two days of fun filled with outdoor activities aimed at all audiences with the aim, in addition, to advance the tourist offer of the municipality facing the next summer.
"A magical weekend" was thus described live and in social networks by those who were lucky enough to enjoy the first edition of La Isla Fun Fest "And with that spirit returns an event that has been presented this Friday by the mayor Of Mazarrón, Alicia Jiménez and by the councilors of Celebrations and Tourism, Patricio Sánchez and María Ángeles Román, in company of members and representatives of the different associations, clubs and companies that collaborate in the programming of this outstanding event of leisure.
Foods trucks, beach sports, balloon ride, nautical activities, children's attractions, classic vehicles exhibition, concerts, Ibiza fair and many other events will offer the possibility to enjoy the public of all ages in a beautiful environment next to the Island and very close to the place where is immersed the oldest Phoenician wreck of the Mediterranean found to date.
First Crossing to Swim Island Beach
The Fun Fest Island includes within its programming, as a novelty, the I Crossing to Swim organized by the Club of Swimming Master Murcia with a route of 1,854 meters around the Island. This is a very attractive test for the amateurs to the swimming "Since the ground line always remains in view of the participant," said María José Montesinos, spokesman for the organizing club.

Repeat the exhibition of classic vehicles, whose representatives have not wanted to miss the presentation, as well as members of beach soccer clubs and representatives of gyms and dance schools also collaborating in the organization of different activities.
Like the guild of local artisans who, along with other positions from outside and within the Region, will be the protagonist of the fair ibicenca.
The music will be put by local DJs and Antonio Hidalgo with his group "Los Happys" on the night of Saturday, May 13th.
