Concepción Aparicio, teacher at CEIP Manuela Romero of Puerto de Mazarrón and a member of Cáritas, preached the celebrations of San Isidro in Puerto de Mazarrón in an event that was attended by the mayor of Mazarrón, Alicia Jiménez.
The words of Aparicio served to announce the arrival of some festivities that will begin on Friday May 12 and end on Sunday May 21.
During the popular "barrio dinner" in the Zaira de Bolnuevo celebratory halls, Conchi Aparicio related his experiences and coexistence with the neighbors of the San Isidro neighborhood.
The preacher remembered people very dear and stressed the closeness and warmth of some people who make their holidays one of the most welcoming of the municipality.
He also had words for San Isidro, patron that gives name to the place and surroundings to which the festivities are organized
Both the mayor, Alicia Jiménez, and the president of the Festival Committee, Isidro Coy, called for the participation of parties that will offer nine days of fun for all audiences, with musical performances, plays, costume contest, shows Children and sports events, among many other events.
On Saturday May 13 will be a tribute to the neighboring Emilia Fuentes, from 21:30 hours.
On Monday May 15 will be held, at 20:30 hours, the traditional Mass and later procession in honor of San Isidro, with the participation of Drum Band and Horns of the Parish of San José.
