Last Friday, the Cultural Center of Mazarrón, welcomed the awards ceremony of a new edition of the photographic contest "We like to read" organized by the Department of Libraries of the City of Mazarrón.
The first prize went to Pablo Galindo Acosta for his photography titled "The contrast of reading".
The second prize went to Daniel Plaza García for the work "There are only two ways to spread the light" and the third prize for "La Costa Cálida y sus 3 maravillas" by Roberto Fernández Valle.
The prizes consisted of vouchers to spend on businesses of the municipality of 300, 200 and 100 euros for first, second and third classified, respectively.
Likewise, the "+ Lector" prize for children and adults was also awarded, which rewards the loyalty of the readers of the libraries of Puerto and Mazarrón.
In the library of Puerto de Mazarrón the prize "+ Children's Reader" was for Khadija Abed and the "+ Adult Reader" for Laurentia Mirela Dumitrescu.
In the library of Mazarrón was recognized as "+ Lector Infantil" for the second consecutive year to Carlos Soria Jiménez and the "+ Adult Reader" was for Rosa Isabel Pagán Blázquez.
All the winners received their awards from the hand of the Councilor for Education and Libraries, Patricio Sánchez.
During the event a theatrical performance, by the students of the educational centers of the municipality, was dedicated to the successful British novelist Roald Dahl.
