The AC Murcia driver, Francis Hernandez, was proclaimed last Sunday champion of the XXXV Subida Automovilística Playas de Mazarrón.
Hernandez, in charge of a Silver Car, added the best time after completing the four sleeves of a 5-kilometer ride on the RM-332 road linking the municipality with Cartagena.
More than thirty drivers, specialists in mountain racing, participated in a new edition of the longest-running test of regional motoring.
Among them the champion of Spain, Raul Borreguero who occupied the second position of the final classification.
The third place was for the veteran pilot in this test, José Vicente Arnau.
Fans of the motor world enjoyed the weekend in Mazarrón, thanks to the organization of this automobile competition.
On Saturday, the participating vehicles, were concentrated in the environs of the beach of Alamillo, being visited by numerous public, that took the occasion to take photographs.
The majority of participants came from car clubs in the Region of Murcia, especially AC Totana with 11 participants.
