Nautical activities, beach sports, foods trucks, children's attractions, balloon rides, concerts and Ibiza fair, among other things served to promote Fun Fest Island for the second consecutive year, the tourist offer of the municipality for the next summer.
The event, held on Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 May, incorporated in this edition new activities such as the I Travesía a Nado de la Isla which brought together a total of 106 participants who toured the 1,854 meters of the circuit.
José Francisco Mármol of the Club Ancora, in the men's category and Teresa Megías, in the female category, were the winners of the event.
The Club Master Murcia was the set that most swimmers contributed.
Another novelty was the celebration of the Spanish Cup of Dragon Boat, a form of canoeing that broke records of participation in Mazarron with more than 200 entries.
Antonio Hidalgo and "Los Happys" put the musical note back to an event that brought together more famous faces.
The winner of the third edition of MasterChef concentrated the expectation among the foods trucks that congregated in the beach of the Island. Also, the concentration of classic vehicles attracted the attention of the fans to the engine.
In summer gates, the Fun Fest Island attracted numerous visitors who knew firsthand the tourist offer of the municipality.
Throughout the weekend were distributed the first copies of the agenda of activities that the various councils have prepared for the coming months.
A program of events designed to enjoy Mazarroneros and visitors in a privileged environment such as the Bay of Mazarron.
The Minister of Tourism, Javier Celdrán, visited on Sunday some of the activities organized.
A fireworks display closed one of the many magical weekends that Mazarron can offer to anyone who visits it.
