Mazarrón returns to sound with force in the international beach soccer of the hand of the CD Bala Azul.
The team of Puerto de Mazarrón sealed this weekend an excellent participation in the Euro Winners Cup held in the Portuguese town of Nazaré.
Last Thursday, the men's team made history after moving into the quarter-finals by knocking out CSKA Moscow on penalties.
In the next round they finally lost (6-3) with the Russian team also FC Delta Saratov.
In the crosses of the qualifying playoffs, the CD Bala Azul finally won the eighth place, being the Spanish team that has reached the most in this competition.
Exceptional result was the women's team that took fifth place in the tournament after beating the German team BeachKick Ladies Berlin.
