The Extension in Mazarrón of the Official School of Languages, which began its journey in 2004, expands its offer for a second consecutive year with a further course in the advanced level of English.

Already in the 2016/2017 course the first course of the advanced level has been offered and for the 2017/2018 will also be offered the second course.

This year a total of 173 students have been trained in the Extension in Mazarrón of the Official Language School of Cartagena, which is based in the Miguel Delibes Public School in Puerto de Mazarrón.

For the mayor of Mazarrón, Alicia Jiménez, "this is a very important news for the municipality due to the tourist profile that presents and the need consequently to have a population better trained in the knowledge of foreign languages, especially the Anglo-Saxon."

In addition, with this expansion of education, said the mayor, "a better service is given to the Mazarron, avoiding the displacement of neighboring municipalities to improve their level of English, with official recognition."

Miguel Meroño, director of the Language School of Cartagena, has highlighted the fact that with this extension of the offer, from Mazarrón can already issue the B2 title that is obtained by passing the second course of advanced English, thus adding to the Titles B1 and A2 that are already issued.

The Extension of the Official Language School of Cartagena opens this Friday its admission period by means of pre-registration for basic level 1 in English (from June 16 to 23) and for all other levels (from June 16 to September 5 ).
