The Murcian artist, Álvaro Peña, inaugurated this Friday the "Wow" show that will be exhibited at Casas Consistoriales until next July 22.
The work of this young and experienced author comes to enrich the cultural offer of the municipality at the beginning of the peak summer season.
The mayor of Mazarrón, Alicia Jiménez, has highlighted the importance of the work of Peña, an artist who despite his youth accumulates a remarkable curriculum with more than 40 individual exhibitions, collective shows and multidisciplinary works.
During an event that has filled the plenary hall, the author has had words of thanks and detailed aspects of a creative work that focuses on the human figure as a protagonist in a specific but influential environment.
The event that has had the presence of the councilman of Culture, Pedro Martínez, has been softened with a musical interpretation.
Álvaro Peña is a plastic artist, graduated in Political Science and Sociology and corresponding academic member of the Royal Academy of Alfonso X El Sabio.
In 2017, its name has gained media relevance in Murcia to be the author of the poster of the Bunch of the Orchard of the Spring Festivals.
The exhibition can be visited from Monday to Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and afternoons from Wednesday to Friday from 5.30 p.m. to 8.30 p.m.
On June 23, the room will remain closed.
