About a hundred readers from around the Region enjoy a panoramic view of the Bay of Mazarron.
The day culminated in a meeting with the writer Luis Leante
Mazarrón hosted this Saturday the II Meeting of Reading Clubs of the Network of Libraries of the Region.
Approximately 90 readers from all over the Community carried out a day of coexistence that included a visit with panoramic views of the Bay of Mazarron and a meeting with the writer Luis Leante.
The Director General of Cultural Heritage, Juan Antonio Lorca, wanted to attend this meeting accompanied by the Councilor for Culture of the City of Mazarrón, Pedro Martinez.
The Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Environment, through the Regional Library, coordinates and provides books to 258 reading clubs in the Region of Murcia.
"The Regional Library has a collection of almost 13,000 copies, of which 437 titles are for adult reading clubs and 70 for children and youth, to help promote The habit of reading among the young. "
The regional center works with 258 reading clubs.
Three of them are taught in the Regional Library and 82 correspond to municipal public libraries.
Also, there are 71 linked to associations and 56 to teaching centers, in addition to 46 senior clubs.
