The mayor, Alicia Jiménez, today received athletes from Mazarron who have achieved successes recently.

As a detail and appreciation for the projection of the municipality in its deeds, it has been recognized to:

Pedro Alcalá by his promotion to First Division with the Girona FC, being the first mazarronero that it obtains

And to Juan Antonio Sánchez for the Championship of Spain in the test individual time trial in Adapted Cycling

The Councilor for Sports, Patricio Sánchez, has congratulated the athletes and along with the mayor has encouraged them to continue striving to reach new goals
