The Demarcation of Coasts of the State in Murcia has initiated the works denominated "Protection of the Facade Litoral in the Beach of Mala Mala".
A few days ago, the mayor, Alicia Jiménez, the Councilor for Tourism, María Ángeles Román and the Councilor for Infrastructure, Pedro Martinez, visited the area along with the new Head of the Demarcation of Coasts, Francisco Marin, to check the needs of the Taking into account in addition the protection project that the City Council has started for the use and enjoyment of hikers and cyclists.
These works are located at the beginning of the coast road that connects Bolnuevo with Cañada de Gallego and intends the adaptation and consolidation of a section of about 420 meters of the same, by means of the extension of the platform, execution of gullies, provision of protection fences and Conditioning of the firm according to sections.
The execution of these works, necessary for the improvement of the safety of pedestrians and cyclists, will be extended throughout the month of July and will entail the limitation of access to the area during the same.
In this sense, access to the area of ​​the coves will be cut from 8.00 am on Monday morning to 19.00 pm on Friday, enabling provisional access for pedestrians and cyclists during the weekend.
The access to Puntabela and to Playa del Rincon will not be affected at any time.
In any case, caution is advised when approaching the works area and follow the directions provided.
