This Saturday July 15 returns the color of Carnival to the summer of Puerto de Mazarrón.

Fifth edition of an event that this year will congregate a total of 21 comparsas, 10 of them coming from different points of the Region of Murcia.

The total number of participants exceeds 650 peñistas.

The event was presented by the Councilor of Celebrations, Patricio Sánchez, who, in the company of representatives of local clubs, highlighted the extensive presence of foreign groups and the involvement of local in a parade that will have in the top positions the children's groups.

The meeting will begin at 9:30 pm, from the Rolandi curve of the Paseo Marítimo in Puerto de Mazarrón to the Plaza of the Autonomous Communities.

The City Council will put chairs at the last point of the route, where more influx of public is concentrated.

To purchase a seat will have to provide a gift of 1 euro for the benefit of Red Cross.

After the parade, the party moves to the beach of Puerto in a stage from which will be announced the ruling of the jury appointed by the Council of Festivities of the City of Mazarrón.

It will select the five best comparsas and there will be mentions to the most spectacular, the headdress, the color, the elegance, the choreography and the originality.

All participating clubs will receive an accrediting diploma for their presence at the Puerto Mazarrón Summer Carnival.
