The hamlet of Pastrana is preparing to celebrate its patron saint's feasts in honor of St. James the Apostle.
The festivities will begin on Saturday, July 22 at 10:00 p.m. with the proclamation in charge of Father Carlos.
Then, at 10:30 pm, the performance of "El Luiso" will take place.
On Sunday 23 and Monday 24 July, different acts will entertain the young and old.
Petanque, popular games and musical performances are included in a varied program.
Highlights include the trovos evening with Pedro Cardoso, Antonio "El Andaluz", Salvador Marina, Andrés Abellueda and guitarist Tomás García.
On Monday night will be the traditional contest of crumbs ruleras.
On Tuesday 25 July, the Holy Mass and the wreath will be celebrated in honor of the patron saint of the hamlet.
It will be at 7:30 p.m.
Later the procession will take place with the image of Santiago Apostle.
Flamenco and dance performances with the participation of the schools De Rosa and Juan Antonio Iglesias will complete the day of end of celebrations that will culminate with the election of Miss Visitor and prize delivery.
