The residents of Mazarrón can enjoy the free activity 'A heritage of cinema', which consists of projections of documentaries on the natural and cultural heritage of the Region and a tent with games with virtual reality glasses.
This initiative of the Ministry of Finance and Public Administration aims to disseminate regional heritage on the Internet using digital techniques and offer an attractive and free activity during the summer.
Juan José Almela, General Director of Heritage, IT and Telecommunications, and the Councilor for Tourism of the City of Mazarrón, María Ángeles Román, visited the tent this morning.
The activity will take place today, from 20:00 to 24:00 hours, and documentaries on the enchanted city, the archeology of Mazarrón, and the history of the town, among others, will be exhibited.
About 1,000 visitors participated last year in this activity in the locality.
'Federación', a film heritage, will also visit the beaches of Santiago de la Ribera (San Javier), Los Nietos (Cartagena), Los Alcázares, Águilas and Isla Plana (Cartagena).
