The mobile application of the Green Line service allows the City of Mazarrón to handle nearly 2,000 incidents.
The service is a direct channel of the neighbors with the administration that allows to report damages as well as the use and maintenance of good environmental practices.
Green Line began its journey in 2013, having a very good reception among citizens.
To date, 1,974 incidents have been reported.
Of these, 79% have already been processed and the rest are ongoing.
The most commonly reported incidences are related to lighting, followed by those involving sidewalks and causeways, parks and gardens, and solid urban waste.
Green Line Operation
In order to use this new service it is necessary to proceed with the download of the Green Line APP.
To do this, the user accesses the Google Play or APP Store based on the technology used in their Smartphone (Android / iOS).
Once located, the download is carried out for free.
From that moment, the user selects the municipality on which it wants to communicate the incidence.
The procedure is very fast and simple.
To communicate an incident, just click on the "Notify your incidence" button.
A dropdown with different types of incidents appears on the screen.
The user selects the one on which he wants to communicate.
The APP automatically detects the exact coordinates in which the malfunction is located.
The next step is to attach a photo of the incident and observation on it.
All you have to do is give the submit button.
Once sent, City Hall staff receives notification of the bad communication.
From this moment, the procedures to solve the detected incidence begin.
The citizen, in turn, receives notification on his mobile phone whenever there is a change in the status of the same.
Through Green Line, the user can also raise any environmental query.
Just select the option "Make your query".
In a maximum period of 24 hours you will have a response from a team of experts in the matter completely free of charge.
