This Monday, the "Water Us Unite" campaign has arrived in Puerto de Mazarrón, an initiative of the Central Syndicate of Irrigation Workers of the Tajo Segura (SCRATS), which wants to show the impact of infrastructure on Levantine society.
The mayor of Mazarrón, Alicia Jiménez, accompanied the president of SCRATS, Lucas Jiménez, during his visit to the Paseo de la Sal in Puerto de Mazarrón, a place chosen by the organization to deploy the logistics of a campaign that began on 28 July and will tour the main beaches of Alicante, Murcia and Almería until 22 August.
In that period from a tent will offer a total of 25,000 kg of fruits and vegetables harvested in the gardens of the Levant.
With this, the SCRATS wishes to transmit to the population of the area of ​​the transfer and to the tourists the necessity of the Tajo Segura transfer.
The campaign is carried out thanks to the collaboration of different collaborating companies.
