The Ministry of Water, Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries, through the Regional Entity for Sanitation and Sewage Treatment (Esamur), has awarded the works to refurbish and improve the wastewater treatment plant (EDAR) of Camposol, in The municipality of Mazarron, for a total amount of 775,039 euros.
Thus, work will be carried out to adapt the facilities of the WWTP in such a way as to guarantee its operation in the event of unforeseen events and facilitate the maintenance of the different equipment.
The works will annually treat a volume of 292,059 cubic meters and serve a population of about 3,500 inhabitants.
The proceedings have already begun and have an approximate execution time of seven months.
The work consists of improving the inlet and general bypass, regulation raft, firefighter drainage, channel stripping, degreaser-degreaser, biological reactor, secondary decantation, flow measurement, chlorination maze, sand filtration system, sludge line And electrical installation.
The action is integrated within the objective of increasing the population connected to purification systems, which includes the II Plan of Sanitation and Treatment of the Region of Murcia, and will also enable an improvement of the environment and the increase of water volume Regenerated to the farmers of the area.
