On August 17 was published in the Official Gazette of the Region of Murcia, the extract of the Order of August 10, 2017, from the Ministry of Water, Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries, which calls for aid for projects under amparo Of the local participatory development strategy of the "Local Action Group for Fisheries and Aquaculture of the Region of Murcia" (GALPEMUR), within the framework of the European Maritime and Fisheries Fund for the years 2017 and 2018.
From that date until September 30, the deadline for the presentation of PRODUCTIVE PROJECTS is open.
The strategy addresses local needs and should include innovative aspects in the context of the coastal municipalities of Mazarrón, Águilas, Cartagena, San Javier, Los Alcázares and San Pedro del Pinatar.
Among the objectives is the search for employment, revaluing and innovating in each and every one of the phases of the supply chain of fisheries and aquaculture.
The strategy also supports diversification and ongoing training for job creation in the fisheries and aquaculture sector, promotes Environmental Quality and social welfare and enhances the role of coastal communities for local development.
The municipalities, in agreement with their governing bodies and cofradías, must show projects to revalue the sector as well as the environment of the fishing facilities or towns.
As for financing, for productive projects can reach up to 50% and for non-productive projects could reach up to 100%.
